의정부 동오마을 맛집 '곱분이곱창'에 다녀왔습니다.
곱분이곱창은 예전부터 듣기만 했지 식당에 가본건 처음이었는데 직화로 구운 막창과 적당히 달달한 곱창이 정말 맛있었던, 그리고 무엇보다 야채없이 고기의 양이 많아 마음에 들었던 맛집이었습니다.
I recently visited "Gopbuni Gopchang," a popular spot in Uijeongbu’s Dong-o Village. If you’re new to Korean cuisine, gopchang (grilled intestines) and makchang (grilled pork or beef rectum) are beloved dishes known for their rich, savory flavors, often enjoyed with a drink. I’d heard about "Gopbuni Gopchang" for a while but had never been until now. This place won me over with its perfectly grilled makchang over an open flame and slightly sweet gopchang—plus, the generous portions of meat without too many veggies made it a standout dining experience.
제 생일 기념으로 방문했던 곱분이곱창 동오점은 신곡동 동오마을 먹자골목 안에 위치해 있습니다.
3명이서 방문하여 직화막창소금, 직화막창양념, 직화곱창을 1인분씩 주문하였습니다.
1인분씩 다 다르게 주문이 되는 점도 매우 좋더라고요!!
I went to the Dong-o branch of "Gopbuni Gopchang" to celebrate my birthday. It’s tucked away in the food alley of Singok-dong’s Dong-o Village in Uijeongbu. The three of us ordered one serving each of jikhwa makchang sogeum (salt-grilled makchang), jikhwa makchang yangnyeom (seasoned makchang), and jikhwa gopchang (grilled gopchang). I loved that they let us order different items per serving—such a great touch!!

메뉴가 나오기 전부터 어묵탕과 마카로니로 술 1병 넘게 마시고 시작했어요ㅋㅋㅋ
나오는 반찬은 기본적이지만 이것만 있으면 맛있게 먹을 준비는 끝납니다!!
As soon as we ordered, they brought out an eomuktang (fish cake soup) that had a spicy kick—perfect as a sul anju (drinking snack), a classic Korean pairing. Before the main dishes even arrived, we polished off over a bottle of sul (alcohol) with the eomuktang and some macaroni—haha! The banchan (side dishes) were simple but just right to get us ready for a delicious meal.

요즘 식당에 가면 무슨 200g이니 300g이니 해도 구운 뒤에는 얼마 안되는데 3인분이 정말 많습니다!!
우선 소금구이 먼저 먹어봤는데 소금간만 살짝 되어있는데 딱 혀 끝에 자극을 줄 정도의 간이라 막창술안주로 최고고 특히 같이 구워지는 떡이 정말 맛있습니다!!
나중에 2인분 추가로 주문했는데 떡을 더 많이 달라고 하니 막창 반 떡 반으로 나와서 완전 최고였어요.
When our orders arrived, the portions were absolutely huge!!! These days, restaurants might list 200g or 300g on the menu, but after grilling, it often feels like less. Not here—three servings felt like a feast! We started with the sogeum gui (salt-grilled makchang), lightly seasoned with just enough salt to tickle the tongue. It’s the ultimate sul anju, and the tteok (rice cakes) grilled alongside it were insanely good! We later ordered two more servings and asked for extra tteok—they brought it out half makchang, half tteok, and it was pure perfection.
양념은 살짝 매콤하면서 달달한데 여기에 불맛이 입혀져서 완전 밥이 땡기는 맛이었습니다
물론 밥이 아니라 술과 함께 하느라 이후 기억이 사라졌지만요
처음에는 주문이 밀려 아쉬웠지만 음식에 대한 기억만큼은 정말 좋았던 곱분이 곱창입니다.
곱창이나 내장 좋아하신다면 한번쯤은 꼭 드셔보시는걸 추천드려요!!

It made me crave bap (rice), though we stuck with sul instead—honestly, my memory gets a little fuzzy after that. The orders took a bit longer due to the crowd, but the food left such a great impression. "Gopbuni Gopchang" is a must-try if you’re into gopchang or naejang (offal) dishes—Korean comfort food at its finest!
