을지로 맛집 츠야카츠에 다녀왔습니다.
일본식 돈까스를 판매하는 츠야카츠는 을지로와 충무로에서 점심을 먹기에 정말 완벽한 식당이에요.
정말 특별했던거는 서양사람들한테 맛집으로 유명한지 손님들이 많았어요.
정말 배부르게 먹은 맛집 츠야카츠 소개해드려요~
I recently had lunch at Tsuyakatsu, a Japanese-style tonkatsu spot tucked away in Euljiro, and I’m already looking forward to my next visit. It’s the perfect place for lunch around Euljiro or Chungmuro, and I was pleasantly surprised by how many foreign diners were already in the restaurant—this place is definitely on the radar for tourists too.
1시 30분경 방문했음에도 안에 사람이 가득차있었습니다.
Even though we arrived around 1:30 p.m., the place was packed. There are about 10 tables in total, and at least two were occupied by non-Korean visitors.
테이블이 10테이블정도 되보였는데 2테이블은 외국인이에요.
신기하게 외국인이 계속 들어오더라고요.
And more kept coming in—seems like this place has built a reputation far beyond the neighborhood.
주문은 밖에서 기다리면서도 가능하고, 안에 들어와서도 가능해요.
저희는 특등심과 기본 등심을 주문했습니다.
거기에 카레도 하나 추가했어요~
Ordering is easy—you can do it outside while waiting, or once you're seated. We ordered the regular loin cutlet and the special premium loin cutlet, and added a side of curry as well.
손님이 많은만큼 주방은 눈코뜰새없이 바쁘더라고요
Despite the crowd, our food came out surprisingly fast. The kitchen was clearly working at full speed, and the service didn’t miss a beat.

There was a small mix-up—my basic loin cutlet was accidentally swapped for the mixed platter, but when I pointed it out, the staff looked frozen for a second. I ended up just keeping it, and they smiled and told me to enjoy. Honestly? Total win for me!
제가 주문한 기본 등심이 아닌 모둠까츠가 나왔어요...
제가 '이거 안시켰어요' 하니 직원분이 뇌정지가 오시더라고요ㅋㅋㅋㅋ
그래서 '그냥 괜찮으면 먹겠습니다~' 했더니
'맛있게 드세요~' 해주셔서 완전 럭키입니다!!

기본찬으로 나온건데 고추장아찌가 완전 킥이에요.
고추씨를 먹으면 매콤안데 씨만 잘 골라먹으면 맵지도 않습니다!!
양념으로는 소금과 돈까스 소스, 와사비가 나와요.
For condiments, they provided salt, tonkatsu sauce, and wasabi—perfect for customizing each bite.

침이 지금도 줄줄 납니다ㅋㅋㅋ
Now let’s talk about that cutlet... The tenderloin had a beautiful pink center, was incredibly juicy, and literally melted in my mouth. No gamey taste at all—just rich, clean flavor and top-tier pork. Absolutely stunning.

왼쪽은 모둠카츠에 나오는 기본등심, 오른쪽은 친구가 주문한 특등심이에요!!
The regular loin had a slightly firmer texture—more meaty and chewy in a satisfying way.
기본등심은 완전 살코기 위주로 씹는맛이 조금 더 강해요
맛이야 두말 할 필요없이 맛있죠ㅋㅋ
But the special one? It had three textures in one bite: a chewy portion, a clean lean section, and a bit of fatty meat that added richness.
특등심은 뭐랄까 조금 밋밋할 수 있는 등심에서 3가지의 식감을 맛볼 수 있어요.
쫄깃한 부위, 담백한부위, 그리고 설컹설컹 기분 좋은 비계부분의 느낌까지
완전 맛있는 부위입니다!!
It was incredibly well-balanced.
또 하나의 추천드리는 카레
처음 나왔을때는 양이 완전 적네? 생각했는데
한숟가락 뜨니 고기반 카레반ㅎㅎ
완전 설레는 카레에요ㅋㅋㅋ
Now for the hidden star of the meal—the curry. At first, it looked like a small portion, but once you scooped in, you realized it was packed with meat. It was like half curry, half meat. A dreamy combination!
고기가 반이라니 완전 사랑스러운 꿈의 카레에요!!
양파의 달달함이 엄청 베어있는 고기카레는 그냥 비쥬얼 만으로도 그냥 합격입니다.
카레를 추가 주문해 먹어도 전혀 후회가 없을거에요
The onion sweetness really came through, giving the curry depth and balance. If you’re into Japanese-style curry, this one won’t disappoint. I wouldn’t hesitate to order another bowl next time.

Tsuyakatsu is already a well-known spot in the area, and for good reason. The pork is clean, flavorful, and cooked to perfection with zero unpleasant odors—just high-quality Japanese-style tonkatsu done right.
If you live or work near Euljiro, I envy you. You could eat here often. For the rest of us, it’s absolutely worth the trip.
